Divine Evil – I never felt any connection with the characters in this one. I should probably reread it, but I have no desire to. Look, at that, I dislike it so much I own two copies! Wait, what?!
River’s End – I thought the story was interesting, but I never really cared whether the characters lived happily ever after with each other. I might reread it some day. Shame, because it’s my all-time favourite cover.
Angel’s Fall- Yeah, it was pretty good, but it’s not something I would think to reread. Not that I wouldn’t reread it, but it wouldn’t come to mind without suggestion. Interchangeable with Northern Lights, Blue Smoke, The Reef and Sanctuary.
Key Trilogy – Enjoyable, vague recollections of the plot, but I will definitely reread.
Garden Trilogy – so fun, really enjoyed, will definitely reread, but probably not on a regular basis.
The Circle Trilogy – You know, the one with the vampire and the wizard and how they go to a different world and all that. I love this trilogy and rank it high because I was really scared I would hate it, so it was a very pleasant surprise. Kind of like how fries and Frosty’s at Wendy’s really do taste good together. Obviously this is the Sign of Seven trilogy in the picture, but the same goes for that and I’ve loaned out my Circle set.
Born in Ice, Born in Shame – LOOOOVE! Um, I’ve actually never read Born in Fire so that’s why it’s not on here. *blush* And yes, that’s a picture of my copy of it. I own it and haven’t read it. I’m lame.
Tribute – I loooooove Tribute, if for no other reason than Spock the dog. Chasing his imaginary cats and that one line where the dog freaks when Cilla shows up and Ford says it’s because Spock was afraid she was from his home planet and had come to take him back. When I laugh out loud, and for a long while, the book is a keeper.
Tears of the Moon and Heart of the Sea – Part of my favourite group of stories, so second-favourite we’ll say. If I can’t have an Aidan, I’ll take a Shawn.
Jewels of the Sun – my absolute favourite. I have read it at least 5 times and will continue to reread it. I want an Aidan! I think this book is where some of my aspirations of travelling to Ireland came from. It was also the first adult novel I read when I was in my late teens. It got to the point where I was at the book store at the cottage so often the lady who owned it finally said “I think you go through the youth novels too quickly, try something longer!”
Now, of course there are several books I didn’t mention. That doesn’t indicate at all how I feel about them. I love The Three Sisters trilogy, I love The Villa and Montana Sky. Love the Circle of Seven Trilogy, (even though it scared me so bad I had nightmares while reading each book). I am not such a fan of Brazen Virtue or Carnal Innocence, but I own both. I also looooooooove the In Death series. But I had to draw the line somewhere!
